VANTERA TECHNOLOGIES is developing a different approach to digital advertising—one designed around consumer intent rather than pay-for-placement.
Instead of forcing advertisements into a user's experience or allowing the highest bidder to automatically claim the top position, VMC is designed to present relevant products and services when a consumer demonstrates genuine interest. Advertising may provide businesses with an opportunity to participate, but advertising dollars do not purchase the #1 recommendation.
VMC's Governor evaluates relevant choices using factors such as verified integrity, proximity, value, quality, availability, and the strength of available evidence. This allows advertising to support the marketplace without allowing payment to determine who consumers should trust.
